Kinusaiga

Kinusaiga is a craft that originated in Japan in the 1980s by Maeno Takashi. Maeno carves the design on a wooden board and pushes silk scraps into the grooves. At Haveabashery we work Kinusaiga on foamcore boards. Kits will be available soon but we also have a class where you can learn this amazing no-sew method.
